Stud farm

From February to September, the stud farm is the most important operation at De Schoone Weide. This year, the Friesian stallions Leffert, Ulbert, Arjen and Gjalt are standing at stud. De Schoone Weide is a certified S.W.S. station (Sperm Win Station) and does everything to ensure your mare is in foal.

Veterinary support is available three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. Fresh sperm may be ordered daily, Monday through Saturday. Please place your order before 9:00 a.m.

Inseminations are done through associate stud farms and are facilitated by courier service (same day service for orders placed before 9:00 a.m.). Stalls and pastures are available for clients’ mares.
